Ever feel limited due to a lack of experience? Perhaps you look around at others. Maybe you compare their progress to your own. Be careful. Such comparisons will weaken you rather than build you up.
Playing the comparison game stopped me for years. There were important things I wanted to do. But, I never felt quite qualified to do them. A feeling of not being ‘good enough’ constantly crept in. So, I chose to listen. I simply disqualified myself before I could even start.
My biggest concern was making a mistake. If I took a step there was a chance I would fail. It somehow felt easier to accept defeat. I certainly didn’t want to find out I was wrong. So, I didn’t even try. I just stood still.
It’s important to remember that everyone has their beginning. It’s at the beginning that confidence and faith is established. I challenge you to focus on the positive. If there’s something you really want to do, go after it!
It’s always important to pray before you start something new. If you still feel peace, take a step of faith. Just start!
The second step will follow the first, the third will follow the second. I think you get it. Little by little, step by step, it gets easier as you go along.
Small beginnings lead to courageous endings. Never underestimate power in one small step. Courage slowly builds as you move forward.
Courageous endings start with small beginnings. If you have a vision, step into it! Watch it grow!
