Ever set out to climb a mountain and those closest to you turn their backs? I believe far too many dreams are left behind for this reason.
Goals and dreams are personal. As much as we want those we care about to support us, this isn’t always going to be the case. Do whatever it takes to stay positive and encouraged independent of others’ reactions.
Remember, it’s not your job to convince others that what you’re doing is right. You can’t change them, nor is it your responsibility. Trying to change others’ opinions or views only drains your energy. It also does nothing to advance your vision.
It’s far easier for them to pull you down than it is for you to bring them up. Don’t let negativity pull you down. Flip things around. Be so positive that others are lifted up.
Try to surround yourself with those who support you in your journey. Be there as a true friend as well. But, don’t rely on support from others. If you want to complete the journey ahead, true strength needs to come from within.
If you want to find out who your true friends are, take this simple test. Fall down and see who's there to pick you up. Set out to climb a mountain and see who's there to hold your hand on the way to the top. True friends support one another in the valley and on the mountaintop.
God is one who will never turn His back. He has big plans for your life. He's there to hold your hand when you fall. He'll be there to hold your hand on the way to the top.
If ready to walk towards your mountain with confidence, let’s talk.
