Healthy Balance in Action
Are you ready to bring out the best in yourself? The best version of you is always a healthy you. While it's great to stay in shape, true health starts with peace of mind. A healthy mindset leads to balance. Balance makes life more enjoyable.
My interest in health and fitness started at the young age of 12. As a health enthusiast and personal trainer for years, my definition of health revolved around diet and exercise. Personal challenges with self-image and confidence taught me that health is far more than diet, exercise or a number on the scale.
Health and balance isn’t something you catch. It’s a choice. Everything starts with a decision. Stay away from circumstances and habits that are less than ideal. Make a conscious decision to live a healthy lifestyle.
Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. It’s important to acknowledge and accept both. It’s even more important to take what you have and make the best of it. Work with what you have. Concentrate on strengths and become the best version of you. Health and balance come when you do what you love and love what you do.
A busy lifestyle may throw you off balance. Daily stressors are a part of life. They simply can’t be avoided. Work through what might be standing in the way then relax and celebrate accomplishments along the way.
To make room for healthier habits and thinking, you may need to clear away mental and physical clutter. You may be surprised to find that it’s only taking up space. Once you make room for balance, fill the space with something positive. Take part in positive activities and spend time with those who support your new way of living.
Balance is a conscious choice. It may involve sacrifice, but keep the end goal in mind. Positive benefits far outweigh the sacrifice and effort required.
